Day Zero Project

I read about the Day Zero project by following a blog of a former classmate. I have the type of personality that loves to make lists – and loves checking items off even more, so I decided to give it a go. Basically, you create a list of 101 things to do in 1,001 days. It can be anything from the mundane to the insane, and you can also categorize items as “someday” for those things that will take you longer than 1,001 days to complete.

Making the list is a bit harder than I thought. I’m only at 72 items after two days, but I don’t want to put things on the list just to complete it, ya know? They have to be the right things. I also have a couple private goals — I like that the web site allows you to mark things only for yourself. I’ll share these when I’m ready.

So, here I go, embarking on 999 days to complete tasks ranging from baking my mom’s sugar cookies to reading all the Harry Potter books to paying off my credit cards.
